We’re thrilled to share that world rights for HOUSE OF DUSK by Deva Fagan, as well as another untitled SFF novel were acquired by Executive Editor Navah Wolfe.

A romantic epic fantasy featuring a fire-wielding nun grappling with her dark past and a young spy caught between her mission and a growing attraction to an enemy princess, HOUSE OF DUSK has the complex relationships, rich and mythic world, and brisk pacing of Tasha Suri’s THE JASMINE THRONE, Samantha Shannon’s PRIORY OF THE ORANGE TREE, and Shannon Chakraborty’s THE ADVENTURES OF AMINA AL-SIRAFI.

Of the acquisition, Navah says: “This is a gorgeous stand-alone epic fantasy with fascinating, original worldbuilding, and characters that captured my heart. Deva is a talented writer with several middle grade novels under her belt. I am thrilled to be bringing Deva’s immense talent to DAW’s list with this wonderful novel!”

Publication is planned for Fall 2025. HOUSE OF DUSK is Deva Fagan’s adult debut.
