DAW has acquired screenwriter Jason Kaleko’s THE JOPLIN HORROR, a cinematic horror about a crew of graverobbers who target a mausoleum only to be chased by a malevolent entity through a labyrinthine nightmare, exploring trauma, grief, and the fragility of memory.

“Few reads manage to be this propulsive and also thought-provoking. Jason’s screenwriting skill makes his story beats addictive. I love that Jason told me he “just wants to scare people,” but he has achieved so much more. This novel sped past me like a subterranean nightmare screening on the inside of my eyelids.
