Executive Editor Navah Wolfe has acquired North American rights for Sierra Branham’s debut trilogy.
LOVE GALAXY, the first book, is a romantic science fiction thriller in which a young woman from a dead-end planet gets cast on a reality TV program to compete for the hand of the prince and princess heirs of the empire. It seems like a dream ticket out of poverty—until contestants start dying. Because not everyone is here for the right reasons…and some of those reasons might end in murder.
This series is smart, sexy, compulsively readable, and a lot of fun, and will appeal to fans of Everina Maxwell’s Winter’s Orbit and Arkady Martine’s A Memory Called Empire. “I tore through the first book and could not put it down until the explosive final chapter. It’s a gripping romantic and political page-turner with a twist I never saw coming,” says Navah of this acquisition, which has already enamored the DAW team with its charm, humor, and prescient take on the human price of Imperialism.
The first book planned for publication on DAW’s Spring 2026 list.
